As for me, it was an easy answer. I knew from an early age that I wanted to work somehow, someway in the fashion industry. Growing up in a suburb of the Bay Area, I saw the amazing and exciting styles happening in San Francisco and realized we just weren't getting that in the suburbs. I realized then that I wanted to open my own boutique and bring all that excitement out to the East Bay. To better understand the industry I attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise and enjoyed sales positions at a large boutique in the Los Angeles area and a small boutique in San Francisco. That experience lead me to become a Manager and Assistant Buyer for a boutique in Danville, California and it was in this last position that I gained the most important experience in helping achieve my goal. With the love and support of my family I am now getting to make my dream come true. With the opening of my boutique in Lafayette, Ca in November of 2007, I hope to bring greater access to fabulous clothes, shoes & accessories to not only Lafayette but the entire East Bay. I want my customers to feel like they are in a store that's different from the rest because of incredible customer care and a personalized level of service that no department store can offer. My customers enjoy regular website updates on what's new, phone calls when their favorite designers arrive, and a welcome atmosphere for children and men as well to feel completely at home. I've looked far and wide to bring in hard-to-find designers, and unique talents from New York to Los Angeles and everything I carry is presented with the quality and style my customers deserve.
